COVID-19 Governor Mandated Closure
Governor Roy Cooper has issued an executive order #120 that orders “because the ability to practice the social distancing necessary to reasonably protect against COVID-19 is significantly reduced in certain establishments where individuals are in close proximity for extended periods of time, or service personnel are in direct contact with clients”, massage establishments and massage therapists are to close as of 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2020. Here is the link to the order if you would like to read it in it's entirety: https://files.nc.gov/governor/documents/files/EO120.pdf
During his press conference Monday, he did say that if things change, they may reissue a new order with a sooner ending date. I will be watching this closely, and will re-open as soon as possible.
If you have an upcoming massage appointment with one of our massage therapists before May 15th, please know that it is canceled and we will be in touch to get you back on the schedule as we approach that time. I was trying to call, text, or email everyone individually and move them until the middle of April, but in light of this new information, I will stop doing that and just send out this blanket cancellation in the form of an email.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Please know that I am sending you all so much love and healthy vibes right now. XOXO
In Peace & Health,
Nikki Terry, LMBT
